About the role
- Our client is an early-stage, venture-backed fintech startup on a mission to expand access to financial tools for people historically excluded from the traditional credit system.
Responsibilities
- Own backend systems and infrastructure end-to-end, from design through deployment and scaling
- Build performant, reliable APIs and services that power core financial products
- Design and implement scalable architectures on AWS using Node (TypeScript)
- Experience building and scaling production systems with Node and AWS
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience, with a significant backend focus
- Track record of delivering reliable, performant systems at scale
Nice to have
- Proficiency with TypeScript strongly preferred
Compensation
- Salary range of 150-250k USD/year + equity, depending on location and seniority.
