About the role
- Work Arrangement This is an on-site position.

Requirements
- Ability to obtain/maintain a Top Secret/SCI DoD clearance, U.S. Citizenship required.

- Frequently required to sit, and to reach to use computers and other office equipment
- Occasionally required to stand for extended periods of time
- Occasionally required repetitive movements of wrists, hands, and/or fingers
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work with multiple engineering disciplines on an aggressive schedule.
- Ability to be flexible in various work scenarios to adjust priorities needed to meet evolving requirements and challenges.
- Demonstrative ability to be proactive and take initiate during day-to-day tasks
- Ability work independently, confidently making decisions to guide other towards project goals
- Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering or related field.
- Master's Degree us a plus.
- 8+ years of structural engineering experience
Nice to have
- Analyzing structural loads on both composite laminates, metallic structures, and plastic components using empirical methods, hand calculations, finite element analysis (FEA).
- Conduct static and dynamic structural analyses using finite element analysis (FEA) tools.
- Prepare detailed technical reports, documentation, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Supporting flight test planning, test execution, and aircraft modifications
- Foundational knowledge of aircraft load paths and structural sizing
- Expert understanding of the theory and practical application of composite structures and their application to aircraft
- Proficiency in finite element analysis (FEA) toolsets such as FEMAP or NASTRAN.
- Proficiency with CAD software (e.g., Solidworks, NX, or CATIA).
