About the role
- The Senior Program Manager runs the program end to end: executing every contractual commitment and positioning Muon to win the work that follows.
- You will be the single accountable owner for cost, schedule, and technical performance, and the primary programmatic and technical interface to the Government customer team.

Responsibilities
- Own the integrated master schedule, cost baseline, and risk register
- Maintain tight cost and schedule discipline
- Lead technical exchange meetings at the appropriate classification levels and convert customer input into actionable program direction
- Own the delivery and quality of all contract data deliverables (CDRLs)
- Partner with mission operations when program activities involve Muon's operational systems - without disrupting existing missions

Requirements
- 8+ years of program management experience on complex aerospace or defense development programs, including direct ownership of cost, schedule, and technical baselines
- U.S. citizenship required (program is ITAR-restricted)
- Experience executing U.S. Government contracts: statement-of-work and CDRL deliverables, milestone-based structures, and day-to-day work with government contracting and technical representatives
- Experience running programs in classified environments, including work in cleared facilities and ownership of program security requirements
Compensation
- The salary range for this role is $158,000 - $198,000, plus a competitive equity grant and comprehensive benefits package.
- Final compensation will be determined based on skills, qualifications, experience, and geographic location as assessed during the interview process.
- At Muon salary is only part of our total compensation package.
