About the role

  • A ssist with the leadership and daily operations of Patagonia, while focusing on customer satisfaction and financial performance.
  • Helps oversee and direct work of Sales Associates.
  • The base hourly pay range below represents the low and high end of the Palisades Tahoe Resort, LLC's hourly pay range for this position.

Responsibilities

  • Implement selling and product training techniques for all Sales Associates in order to achieve sales objectives. Implement contests or sales incentives on a monthly basis and recognize top performers.
  • Develop staff in maintaining merchandise presentation of sales floor, in-store product knowledge
  • Motivate and lead Sales Associates to achieve and succeed monthly sales goals

Requirements

  • The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk, talk, see, and hear.
  • Must be capable of walking or standing 80% or more of a normal 8-hour work shift.
  • Must be capable of occasionally carrying, lifting, pushing or pulling up to 25lbs.
  • Must be capable of occasionally squatting, bending, kneeling, reaching, and balancing, able to climb ladders and shovel snow.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks.
  • Working knowledge of computers including MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access)

Compensation

  • $20.50 - $28.69 per hour
