About the role
- The role requires working on-site a minimum of five days.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver complex custom ABAP solutions independently within an S/4HANA environment.
- Work with technical and functional teams to design, analyze, and develop prioritized solutions.
- No leads, no architects, no support candidates.
Requirements
- Proficiency with Core Data Services (CDS) views, OData, and the ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP).
- Experience with ABAP Managed Database Procedures (AMDP).
Nice to have
- Experience working within a UI5 project to understand the architecture.
- Familiarity with new S/4HANA coding syntax and best practices.
- The developer must have the ability to work independently with little guidance to develop complex ABAP solutions from high-level functional design documents.
- Utilize Object-Oriented ABAP, CDS views, RFC, BAPI, and BADI for custom development.
- Extend and integrate new solutions with pre-existing custom applications.
- Resolve system defects identified during the testing phase.
- Adhere to development standards and follow the change management process for deployment.
- Gain a thorough understanding of the solution’s application architecture and database structure.
