About the role
- The Oil & Gas industry has relied upon Caterpillar power for decades for the toughest drilling, gas compression, production, power generation and well service applications.
- The Validation Engineer i mplements and improves testing, development and validation techniques, processes, tooling and machinery to maximize product quality.

Responsibilities
- Resolving issues regarding the design or manufacturing. Ensuring design acceptance and manufacturing readiness.
- Globally, we deliver engineered oilfield and drilling equipment repair and certification, mechanical and rotating equipment repairs and upgrades, rapid prototyping of spare parts, robust asset management, operation and maintenance and field engineering services.

Requirements
- Requires a degree in Electrical and/or Mechanical Engineering or Computer Science
- Process Management: Knowledge of business process improvement tools and techniques
- ability to understand, monitor, update, control, or enhance existing business or work processes.
- ability to complete tasks with high levels of precision.
- Analytical Thinking: Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis
- ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.
- Technical Excellence: Knowledge of a given technology and various application methods
- Requires a degree in an accredited Engineering, Computer Science, or Materials Science curriculum or equivalent experience working in an Engineering function.
Compensation
- $112,710.00 - $169,060.00
- Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
