Responsibilities

- Develop strong working relationships in different external business settings ( e.g. academia, hospitals, managed markets, private practices)
- Lead scientific exchanges with oncologists and key members of the MDT.
- Collaborate with Clin ops on trials from feasibility to execution
Requirements
- Ability to express ideas clearly in written documentation, one-on-one conversations and in small group dialogues
- Ability to navigate within a matrix environment
- 4+ years of MSL experience OR relevant therapeutic area experience
- Demonstrated expertise in discussing scientific content and context to multiple audiences
- Strong understanding of clinical study design and protocols
- Ability to travel (40-60% by car, train and plane domestic)
Nice to have
- Relevant hematology/oncology clinical experience
- MSL experience preferred
- The territory includes Ohio.

Compensation
- The annual base pay for this position ranges from $183,200 to $289,900.

- Act as the local medical leader responsible for developing a tailored strategy to meet the AZ USMA priorities in the disease area, as well as the local specificities and patient needs.
- Lead peer-to-peer scientific/medical interactions
- Gather insights on the treatment landscape, evolving healthcare environment and practice, barriers to optimal treatment and opportunities to improve outcomes of patients with cancer
- Discuss data and educational gaps with External Scientific Experts (ESEs) to ensure adequate use of our medicines and to inform our medical affairs strategy to address patient needs
