About the role

  • Your vision is to make SAP Dremio a platform that enterprises trust completely: always available, continuously optimised, and effortless to operate at any scale, in any region.
  • Customers should never have to think about performance, management or infrastructure - it should just work, and work well.
  • You will raise the bar on what enterprise-grade means: from how customers access their data, to how the platform self-optimises under the hood, to how confidently organisations can expand into new regions and deployment models.

Responsibilities

  • Own the product strategy and roadmap across cloud platform service infrastructure and service reliability, balancing long-term platform integrity with pragmatic delivery.
  • Drive operational capabilities that allow the platform to scale sustainably - including provisioning, upgrades, capacity planning, self-healing behaviour, and cost optimisation.
  • Use telemetry, reliability data, and customer signals to identify gaps, validate improvements, and continuously raise the bar on platform quality.
  • Collaborate closely with UX Design, Engineering, Cloud Ops, Security, Finance, and RevOps to ensure platform capabilities are operable, secure, and commercially aligned.
  • Own documentation of all product requirements, deliverables, and user enablement content.
  • Drive clear communication across engineering and support teams to ensure product-related issues transition smoothly through defined channels.

Requirements

  • 5-8+ years of Product Management experience in SaaS, cloud infrastructure, or distributed systems environments.
  • Hands-on experience building or scaling a control and data plane services, with a strong understanding of cloud-native architectures, networking models, and distributed systems.
  • Experience working closely with engineering teams on highly technical initiatives.
  • Ability to independently engage in technical conversations and influence senior engineering stakeholders.
  • Experience using telemetry and reliability metrics to inform product decisions.
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes-based systems.
  • Experience with global or multi-region cloud and distributed system deployments.
  • Familiarity with enterprise security, governance, and compliance frameworks.

Benefits

  • Define and drive the vision for regional infrastructure and expansion - making SAP Dremio available, performant, and cost-efficient wherever customers need it, through repeatable and policy-driven deployment models.
  • Lead internal infrastructure observability and reliability strategy - defining the metrics, logs, traces, SLOs, and alerting that surface meaningful health signals to internal teams and customers.

Company info

  • Customers rely on Dremio for cloud, hybrid, and on-prem lakehouses to power their data mesh, data warehouse migration, data virtualization, and unified data access use cases.
  • The best version of this platform is invisible to customers in the best possible way - secure by default, fast without configuration, and compliant without friction.
