About the role

Position Overview The Facilities Construction Manager is responsible for the hands-on execution of utility facilities construction projects across operations centers, service yards, substations, and office environments.
This is not a high-rise or commercial development role.

Lead day-to-day execution of utility facilities construction projects from kickoff through closeout.
Manage scopes such as roofing, HVAC, painting, interior renovations, electrical upgrades, and site work across active facilities.
Coordinate with utility operations teams to manage site access, outages, and ensure all facilities are safely restored to full operational condition after construction activities.
Maintain accurate schedules, budgets, field reporting, and project documentation, reflecting real-time changes in status and scope.
Support procurement and bid processes, including scope development, contractor selection, and vendor performance management.
Drive closeout deliverables including punch lists, turnover documentation, and final acceptance.

5+ years of experience leading facilities construction, utility facilities work, or operational infrastructure projects.
Strong working knowledge of construction fundamentals including scopes, schedules, budgets, RFIs, submittals, material procurement, and change orders.
Experience working in operational environments where safety, access control, and service continuity matter.
Must be able to meet the company's driving requirements.
Proven ability to manage contractors, vendors, and field execution across multiple active sites or concurrent projects.
Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
able to produce clear field reporting and basic project tracking.

The base salary range for this role is $90,000 - $105,000 annually. This range represents a good faith estimate at the time of posting
actual compensation will depend on experience, qualifications, and other factors permitted by law. In addition to base salary, the role includes eligibility for bonus incentives, a comprehensive benefits package, and a company 401(k) match.
