- Position Overview The Estimator will report directly to the Chief Estimator and serve as a key contributor within both the estimating and business development teams.
Responsibilities
- Utilize AGTEK or similar earthwork take‑off software to support estimating activities.
- Manage initial project setup, including equipment calibration and model import.
- Support configuration of new devices and data collectors within WorksManager.
- Collaborate with field personnel to ensure proper use of GPS systems for layout.
- Perform bid take‑offs using AGTEK and Bluebeam.

Nice to have
- Demonstrate intermediate‑level knowledge of commercial site development and earthwork, with the ability to efficiently read and interpret site/civil drawings.
- Leverage prior field experience with a site development contractor (highly beneficial).
- Produce accurate cut sheets and as‑built documentation.
- Solicit and organize quotes from subcontractors and suppliers.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction, Engineering, Building Science, or a related field (preferred but not required).
- Strong understanding of construction take‑off procedures and estimating principles.
- Familiarity with quality, safety, and compliance standards.
- Proficiency with MS Outlook and MS Office Suite.
