Responsibilities
- Suggest improvements; continuously improve the quality of all support activities.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as necessary.
- Perform all duties within OSHA and company safety standards; LOTO, wear PPE and maintain safety equipment.
- Maintain a safe, clean and organized work area.
- Immediately report all accidents and deficiencies to the lead/foreman/supervisor.
- Build and support a culture of openness and accountability within (and out-side) the assigned department.
Requirements
- Ability to find a solution for or to deal proactively with work-related-problems.
- Ability to read a limited number of two- and three-syllable words and to recognize similarities and differences between words and between series of numbers.
- Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers.
- Ability to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions and deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.
- The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to be successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
- REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE and ABILITIES:
Nice to have
- $23.50 per hour ($19.50 base wage PLUS $4.00 shift differential)
- Sanitation workers are responsible for keeping the facility as clean as possible.
- They will use the best techniques for cleaning certain machines around the plant floor.
- Carryout responsibilities in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Cleaning or chemical sanitation experience/training or equivalent.
- Preferred Experience: Cleaning or chemical sanitation experience/training or equivalent.
Compensation
- $120k-$140k
