About the role
- As the Histotechnologist Supervisor you will oversee the activities of the lab and Signatera team that is cutting, staining and preparing tissue samples for the pathologist view.
- The individual is responsible for supervising and participating in operations of the histology lab.
- In this position, you will work in a fast paced, customer focused, and challenging environment
Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain Quality Assurance records and documents
- Natera takes cyber crimes seriously, and will collaborate with law enforcement authorities to prosecute any related cyber crimes.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree required
- 4+ years Histology laboratory experience required, and minimum 2 years supervisory experience
- Travel required for this position:
- Perform bench work as needed and maintain proficiency/competency in technical operations
- Active ASCP Board of Certification, HT(ASCP), HLT(ASCP)
Skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Able to accurately understand and convey information to team members
- Ability to think broadly about the importance of information.
- Ability to work independently
- Strong working knowledge of CLIA, CAP and relevant state regulations
- Understanding of laboratory operations as well as policies and procedures
- Proficient with Laboratory Information Systems and Microsoft Office
- High level of attention to detail with strong organizational skills
- Comfortability making decisions in a changing environment
- Ability to handle the physical requirements of the position
