About the role
- Position Purpose: Our Hospital Staffing / Scheduling Coordinator will be performing a wide range of clerical and administrative duties specific to the needs of Nursing Managers.
- Ensures accurate licensure information for temporary staff (travelers and pool RN's) in all assigned departments.
- The 92-bed hospital and home health and hospice agency have been anchor institutions in north central Connecticut for more than 100 years.
Responsibilities
- Develops and posts schedules while assisting with the staffing of the Nursing Department.
- Maintains accurate timekeeping records and assists with payroll responsibilities in Kronos.
Requirements
- Must have a High School Diploma.
- Must have clerical/administrative experience.
- Must have hospital scheduling or equivalent experience.
- Must be computer literate.
Nice to have
- Experience in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred.
- Word processing experience is preferred.
