About the role
- We are looking for a dependable, hands-on Scrap Metal Processor to join our scrap yard team. This position is a great fit for someone who enjoys working outdoors, staying active, helping customers, and working around equipment and metal recycling operations.
- Assist customers with unloading scrap metal from vehicles and trailers
Responsibilities
- Sweep, shovel, blow, and perform general yard and equipment clean-up
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen
- Must have steel-toe boots
- Previous customer service or scrap metal experience helpful, but not required
- Overtime may be required as needed
Nice to have
- Familiarity with OSHA safety standards preferred
