Responsibilities

  • Manage a defined docket of real estate and commercial litigation matters from inception through resolution, serving as the day-to-day point person on assigned cases.
  • Develop and execute litigation strategy in close collaboration with partners and clients.
  • Manage discovery and deadlines proactively to keep matters moving forward efficiently.
  • Communicate directly with clients and opposing counsel, building strong, trusted professional relationships.
  • Collaborate with paralegals and internal team members while maintaining accountability for quality, deadlines, and case outcomes.
  • Character Counts - Collaborative and collegial people, who take responsibility and maintain accountability & high emotional intelligence
  • Demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple transactions simultaneously.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school and active license (or eligibility for licensure) to practice law in New York.

Nice to have

  • Comfort using litigation technology and court filing systems (e.g., NYSCEF
  • PACER experience is a plus)
  • experience with e-discovery platforms a plus.

  • Compensation - Competitive annual salary in the range of $175k - $250k commensurate with experience, practice focus, and credentials
