About the role

  • The Processing Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining production machinery to meet line standards, ensuring product quality, and supporting efficient, continuous production.
  • You will add value by doing the following including but not limited to:
  • Remove defective products from the line to ensure quality standards are met

Responsibilities

  • Monitor product flow and adjust machine speed to maintain efficient production
  • Perform minor maintenance and adjustments on the machine as needed
  • Maintain a clean work area and complete housekeeping duties as assigned
  • Maintain regular attendance and dependable work performance
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, food defense, and food quality standards; perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

Nice to have

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Prior experience in a food manufacturing or similar production environment is preferred
  • Basic understanding of math and have knowledge of measurements, associated with the reading of a caliper or measuring instrument
