Responsibilities
- Team Lead Global Resin & Plastic Components Sourcing (m/f/d)
- Lead and develop a team of 5 Strategic Sourcing Managers
- Lead global strategic sourcing of plastic raw materials and related components, coordinating with Category Managers, Lead Buyers, and key stakeholders
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies aligned with business objectives for cost, availability, quality, and sustainability
- Build and guide a global network across Procurement, R&D, Product Management, and Sustainability
- Manage supplier performance, risk, and development initiatives to secure availability in challenging markets
- Deliver market analysis and forecasts on price and supply trends
Requirements
- A bachelor's or master's degree in engineering, production, supply chain, or business administration
- 10+ years' experience in strategic procurement in a manufacturing environment, ideally in plastics
- Experience in leading teams
- Experience in matrix and decentralized organizations
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
