About the role

  • The SDET is responsible for testing the company's products to ensure that company standards and specifications are met.
  • include executing test cases, creating and running automated scripts, creating defect reports, and working with Software Engineers to troubleshoot issues.
  • Also, the SDET works closely with the Manager, Application Engineering to ensure that the product is meeting the Waystar quality standards.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze user stories and functional requirements to create detailed test plans.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing.
  • Document and maintain test cases and results.
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts for web, API, and service layers.
  • Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot and validate fixes.
  • Perform API testing using tools such as Postman.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years of experience in software quality assurance.
  • Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and QA best practices.

Nice to have
