Responsibilities

  • Design, deploy, and manage Kubernetes infrastructure on Amazon EKS.
  • Build and maintain GitOps deployment pipelines using ArgoCD and GitLab CI/CD.
  • Implement and manage Istio service mesh for traffic management and security.
  • Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines for reliable application deployments.
  • Monitor platform performance, troubleshoot issues, and perform root cause analysis.
  • Collaborate with development, security, and cloud teams to improve platform reliability.
  • Implement best practices for containerization, scalability, and high availability.
  • Support observability, cost optimization, and infrastructure modernization initiatives.

Requirements

  • Strong knowledge of AWS services, networking, IAM, and security.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Proficiency in Python, Bash, or Go scripting.
  • Experience with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or CloudWatch.
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD processes and cloud-native architectures.

Nice to have

  • Experience with microservices and distributed systems.
  • Knowledge of container security and policy-as-code tools.
  • AWS or Kubernetes certifications.
  • Experience in enterprise-scale or regulated environments.
  • The ideal candidate will have strong experience in automation, container orchestration, infrastructure as code, CI/CD pipelines, observability, and platform security.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • Enhance platform security through IAM, secrets management, and network policies.
  • 6+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering.
