About the role

  • The Finance Rotation Development Program provides the opportunity for high potential future leaders to gain exposure to functions that are critical to the Finance organization at Genentech.
  • This is accomplished over a number of rotational assignments in the following areas: Commercial Finance, Technical Operations Finance, R&D Finance, and Controlling & Accounting.
  • FRDP participants may have an opportunity to conduct a rotational assignment in Basel, Switzerland.

Responsibilities

  • The goal of the program is to develop highly talented future finance leaders within the company.
  • Genentech will support the participant's career development.

Nice to have

  • 4-6 years of work experience prior to graduate school in finance, consulting, or drug development preferred
  • Prior work experience in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industries preferred
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills
  • Proven ability and experience in effectively interacting with executives and senior leaders
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and experience
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • The global grade for this position is SE6

Compensation

  • The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of California of $116,800 to $216,80.
