Requirements
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit, demonstrate manual dexterity, climb stairs, talk, hear, and see.
- Must be able to work shift work with 12-hour shifts.
- Occasionally may be required to lift moderately heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) during the workday.
Nice to have
- By logging BHs, mapping muck material and walls, and use of geological tools.
- Capable in managing geological software Vulcan, Leapfrog is a must, other software related with geology and/or Ore Control is recommended.
- Audit and report field practices related with sampling, drilling, and mining.
- Able to identify, communicate and participate in solutions of potential operational risks and/or operational substandard processes, daily check of block-out field marks.
- Understand Ore Movement and dilution, be proactive in relation to operational restrictions and needs.
- Integrate team with best practices related to Minestar, routing, misrouting reporting, and possible areas for improvement.
- Constantly audit the sampling methodology and communicate result to Senior Geologist.
- Prepare appropriate reports and presentations.
