About the role

  • We are seeking a proactive, hands-on People & Talent Operations Manager to take comprehensive ownership of the day-to-day HR and recruiting functions.
  • As they scale, you will bring greater structure to existing internal frameworks, help establish new organizational guidelines, and explore innovative ways to embed company policies into their proprietary operational workflows.
  • This position is a fully in-office role based at their downtown Toronto location.

  • Pipeline Logistics: Administer internal applicant tracking platforms, coordinate interview calendars, manage relationship contracts with external headhunters, and proactively source talent for critical positions.

Requirements

  • Professional Experience: 3 to 5 years of dedicated experience in people operations, human resources, corporate operations, or equivalent startup environments.
  • Cross-Border Payroll: Proven track record running payroll across multiple legal jurisdictions (specifically the United States and Canada).
  • Execution & Autonomy: High degree of discretion, supreme attention to detail, and a self-starting mindset that thrives in fast-paced settings without requiring constant direction.
  • You are comfortable with ambiguity and enjoy iterating on fresh ideas.

Compensation

  • The typical salary range for this position is between $100,000 and $150,000 CAD.
