Responsibilities

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Science or STEM with 5 years of experience
- or Master's degree with 3 years of experience
- or PhD with 1 years of experience.
- Must be a US Citizen with an active DoD Secret Clearance with investigation date within 6 years.
- U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain Special Program Access (SAP).
- Analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated technical writing experience in both authoring and reviewing formal analysis documentation.
- Knowledge and/or experience with structural analysis.
- Experience using CAD software to clean up geometry for analysis.
- Experience in Finite Element Analysis with Nastran (or equivalent).
Nice to have
- Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering or equivalent from an accredited college/university.
- Experience working strategic or tactical missile programs or spacecraft.
- Experience with Thermal Desktop.
- DoD Top Secret Clearance.
- Proficiency with ABAQUS, FEMAP, and ANSYS.
- Exposure to structural test applications.
- Experience with seismic analysis (ASCE 7).
- Exposure to missiles program requirements & with propulsion.
Compensation
- $98,400.00 - $147,600.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
- Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
