About the role

- This includes managing all engineering VoIP projects and configuring and optimizing all VoIP/IP- telephone systems and services, both internally and those integrated with Internet-based services, telephone and data networks.
- The work will be performed on-site for one of our cleared clients in Washington, DC.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Technology or a related field is required.
- Must have CCNA/CCNP Voice certifications.
- Certified CISCO Call Manager Administrator is required.
- Must have a working technical knowledge of VoIP/IP telephony systems, software, and hardware, including specialized knowledge of Cisco products
- Experience with SIP, H.323, TCP/IP, and other routing protocols.
- Strong understanding VoIP QoS issues and mitigation strategies.
- Working knowledge of the Microsoft desktop and server operating systems.
- Direct experience with Cisco routers and switches.
- Ability to operate tools, components, peripherals, and testing accessories.
- Due to contract requirements, position requires an active Secret clearance and the ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance.
