About the role
- The Procurement Team plays a critical role in the business by managing the strategic design and execution of end-to-end processes for acquiring goods and services sustainably and in compliance with business standards. We oversee sourcing and onboarding vendors, optimizing key company systems and processes, maintaining a strategic outlook on procurement
- activities, and ensuring all contracts meet legal, project, and business requirements.
Responsibilities
- Support and execute end-to-end procurement activities across assigned categories, from understanding business requirements and sourcing suppliers to negotiation, contracting and delivery.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and develop commercially sound procurement solutions valuable to the organisation.
- Identify, evaluate and engage suppliers based on capability, quality, cost, service and business requirements, while building effective long-term supplier relationships.
- Support commercial and contract negotiations, monitor supplier performance and work with relevant stakeholders to resolve performance, delivery or procurement-related issues.
- Analyse procurement and market data to generate insights, support decision-making and provide clear, evidence-based recommendations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and use insights to support decision-making.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
