About the role
- The expected salary range for this position is between: $91,000.00 - $126,500.00 The range for the position in other geographies may vary based on market differences.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and maintain accurate financial records, including ledgers, journals, and balance sheets, at the Holding Company level and across all supported entities.
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes to ensure timely, accurate completion.
- Partner with bookkeeper to record and classify day-to-day financial transactions across multiple entities with accuracy and consistency, and assist with bank and credit card reconciliations and maintain reconciled general ledger accounts on a regular basis.
- Implement and monitor internal control systems to safeguard company assets and ensure accurate financial reporting across all entities.
- Support tax compliance by coordinating with the tax team and external advisors on filings, planning, and documentation for local, state, and federal requirements.
- Collaborate with IT and finance stakeholders on the implementation or upgrade of accounting software and tools.
- Mentor team members and share accounting knowledge in ways that build capability across the broader team.
- Partner with finance, operations, HR, and other departments to ensure accounting activities align with business goals and are understood by non-financial stakeholders.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP, IFRS) and regulatory requirements.
- Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Oracle, SAP, or NetSuite, and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Knowledge of internal controls, accounting systems, and financial compliance.
- Familiarity with tax regulations and multi-entity or multi-industry accounting environments.
- Clear and effective communication skills, written and verbal, with the ability to translate complex financial information for non-financial audiences.

- A collaborative, team-oriented mindset and the ability to lead through expertise and influence rather than hierarchy.

- The range for the position in other geographies may vary based on market differences. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
Nice to have
- 5+ years of experience in accounting (preferred in 3+ years of experience in public accounting)
