Responsibilities
- Support hardware testing on development programs for HVAC and Commercial system applications.
- Interface with software and hardware design engineers to determine the appropriate test parameters on these applications.
- Help develop hardware validation samples for testing and customer evaluation.
- Set up and perform testing on motor controls and related hardware.
- Document testing and test results
- The Test Lab Engineer Co-Op will support hardware development programs for HVAC and Commercial system applications.
Skills
- Working to achieve a B.S in Electrical Engineering
- Junior status
- Ability to work a minimum of 25 hours per week during business hours.
- Familiarity with electronic test equipment - multimeters, oscilloscopes, etc.
- Good hands-on skills such as soldering and mechanical assembly.
- Ability to collaborate with multi-functional teams.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Good communication (written and verbal) and organization skills.
- Strong technical and problem-solving skills.
