About the role

  • The Assembly Operator is responsible for performing assembly tasks as part of a production line.
  • This role requires the ability to follow detailed instructions, blueprints, and work specifications to assemble parts and products.
  • The Assembly Operator ensures that all products meet quality and safety standards, contributing to the efficient and timely delivery of high-quality products.

Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and production orders to perform repetitive assembly operations.
  • Perform a variety of bench operations, including assembling components like plates, springs, "O" rings, racks, and valves, using screws, nuts, gaskets, spacers, and other parts.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work area, adhering to 5S standards.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and demonstrate a commitment to teamwork by collaborating with colleagues to achieve production goals.

Requirements

  • Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner
  • The job requires repetitive assembly, standing, and ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
  • Package finished products and prepare labels as required.
