About the role
- Navteca is seeking a Business Intelligence (BI) Architect/Developer with strong experience in data analysis, business intelligence, and data engineering.
- The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience across the full data lifecycle-from data ingestion and transformation to reporting and visualization-and will play a key role in enabling data-driven decision-making across multiple systems.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain business intelligence and data analytics solutions
- Gather, define, and document data requirements, including data flows and architecture diagrams
- Perform data modeling and support the design of data warehouses and data lake architectures
- Develop and manage ETL processes, including data extraction, transformation, cleansing, and loading
- Support query development and reporting for enterprise data systems
- Integrate and manage data across multiple platforms and systems
- Analyze and optimize data structures, including denormalization and performance tuning
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure accurate and efficient data delivery
Requirements
- Timesheets must be submitted for all work performed
Skills
- SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
- SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
- Snowflake, Teradata, SAS
- 2-4 years of experience in business intelligence, data engineering, or analytics
- Strong understanding of data architecture, data modeling, and data integration
- Experience working with multiple data systems and enabling data sharing across platforms
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical data solutions
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Experience in government or regulated environments is a plus
- Work Location & Schedule
- On-site or hybrid depending on contract requirements
