- This will be accomplished through the use of process improvement methodologies utilizing DMAIC, DOE, FMEA, Process Mapping, 6S, etc.

- The Process Engineer II will identify improvement opportunities that align with strategic objectives and lead multi-disciplined teams improving existing processes, reducing costs, and assisting in the implementation of new manufacturing processes.
Requirements
- BS in Engineering and over 2 years Process, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering experience
- Thorough understanding and demonstrated working knowledge of Six Sigma and Lean tools and techniques (DMAIC, DOE, FMEA, SPC, Process Mapping, etc.)
- Experience with statistical software such as Minitab or SPC for Excel, flowcharting and process mapping software
- the ability to train others in use
- Learn and retain a working knowledge of company initiatives, processes, laboratory testing and quality control procedures, as necessary to meet company needs
Skills
- Professional attitude and work ethic, and a self-starter with a desire to achieve results
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written, from floor level through the management level
- Proven team leadership skills and the ability to influence others at all levels of the organization
- Knowledgeable of process engineering, manufacturing engineering, industrial engineering, and material
- Capable of process documentation such as manufacturing routings, task descriptions, work center definitions
- Experience with project costing, bid package preparation and execution (desirable)
- Experience leading cross-functional problem-solving teams with demonstrated success
- Strong time and project management skills
- Familiar with design of machinery fundamentals
