Responsibilities
- The initial assignment is to provide support to the Neuromuscular team and Children's Treatment Centre services within Development and Rehabilitation.
- Plans the nutritional care for patients on therapeutic and modified diets, maintains current and accurate patient diet information records and provides instructions for patients and families concerning dietary aspects of treatment
Requirements
- Baccalaureate degree in Dietetics (Essential)
- Bilingualism (French/English) will be validated by a language proficiency assessment conducted by a third party provider.
- Candidates will be required to meet the minimum linguistic profile prior to the date of hire.
- Provides pertinent nutrition information to individuals over the telephone as required.
- Vulnerable Sector Check (Essential)
- Successful completion of an accredited dietetic internship (Essential)
- Member of the College of Dietitians of Ontario (Essential)
- Bilingualism (French/English) (Essential)
- Excellent interpersonal and teaching skills (Essential)

Please note that location may be subject to change at any time at the discretion of the employer. All OPSEU members shall be granted an interview upon passing the pre-screening.
