  • Job Description The Production Scheduler will be based in a central supply chain office, managing the Master Production Schedule (MPS) for multiple facilities.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate regular planning calls, working with plants to provide schedules that support improved efficiency (e.g., colour changes, family transitions, and run lengths).
  • Manage the intercompany finished goods transfers of assigned product categories,
  • Lead IKO's Excellence projects that are key to achieving IKO's strategic objectives and oversee cross-functional projects and assignments to enhance interdepartmental performance (Logistics, Raw Materials, and Customer Service).
  • Manage MPS schedules for commercial and residential businesses using the planning templates and JDE.
  • This includes monitoring run rates, optimizing short-term planning schedules, and collaborating with plant teams to manage the detailed execution of these schedules.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Operations, Supply Chain or related field required
  • 2+ years of experience in master scheduling, demand management, capacity planning, and/or supply planning environments.
  • Experience with MRP, large-scale ERP, or planning systems.
  • High proficiency in MS Office, particularly in MS Excel and data visualization tools.
  • Must have an excellent understanding of the upstream and downstream supply chain processes.
  • Ability to work cooperatively across multiple functions.
  • ability to demonstrate flexibility on the job.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable with team-based work structure; ability to demonstrate flexibility on the job.
  • Demonstrates initiative, is conscientious and provides complete follow-through on areas of responsibility.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, decision-making, and presentation skills.

Nice to have

  • Certificates - APICS or other forecasting and Supply Chain Certifications preferred.
  • Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt, Black Belt) is an asset.
  • Power BI experience is an asset

Compensation

  • The annual salary ranges from $60,000 to $70,000.00
