About the role

  • We produce strap, stretch and protective packaging.
  • We also manufacture packaging tools and equipment used to apply the bulk packaging materials.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance, support, performance feedback.
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to enhance equipment reliability and reduce unplanned downtime.
  • Establish and maintain maintenance schedules for key equipment and facilities.
  • Monitor equipment performance and implement measures to improve reliability and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with operations teams to address recurring issues, identify and analyze root causes of failures, and implement long-term solutions.
  • Manage the maintenance budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources, cost savings opportunities and optimizing expenditures.
  • Maintains appropriate replacement and repair parts including accurate inventories
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including equipment history and repair logs.
  • Implement best practices to enhance overall equipment performance and reliability.
  • The Maintenance Manager collaborates with various departments to minimize downtime, reduce operational costs, and enhance overall equipment performance.

Requirements

  • Associates' degree in Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field.
  • 5-10 years in maintenance management, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
  • 2+ years supervisory experience required.
  • Experience leading improvement efforts in Maintenance Reliability, Predictive and Preventive Maintenance.
  • To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Compensation

  • The annual salary for this position ranges from $99,000 - $110,000 and varies based on specific responsibilities and geographic location.
  • Starting annual salary within this range will be determined based on the candidate's experience, qualifications, and/or skillset.
  • The Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating maintenance activities within the organization.
  • This role involves managing the maintenance team, implementing preventive maintenance programs, and ensuring the reliability and efficiency of equipment and facilities.
  • The Maintenance Manager collaborates with various departments to minimize downtime, reduce operational costs, and enhance overall equipment performance.
  • Essential Functions:
  • Participate in setting the plants' annual, quarterly and monthly KPI's.
