About the role
- BRG's Economics, Disputes & Investigations (EDI) practice is a leader in areas that can significantly impact business.
- This role sits within our Antitrust and Competition practice and focuses on applying advanced economic theory and quantitative methods to complex litigation, regulatory, and merger-related matters.
- The role also includes managing junior staff, ensuring quality of analysis, and collaborating closely with senior experts, attorneys, and clients.
Requirements
- Ph.D. degree in Economics with a focus on microeconomics, applied microeconomics, IO, econometrics, labor or r elated field from a reputable university.
- Minimum three ( 3 +) years of experience in supporting complex Antitrust matters.
- estimation techniques to real-world data, and significant use of Stata, R, and/or MATLAB Two or more years of experience in application of econometric modeling techniques.
- E xperience in econometric modeling, application of sophisticated empirical and econometric
- Keen interest in economic, statistical, or financial analysis, research and writing.
- Excellent communication, managerial and analytical skills, as well as leadership skills.
- Desire to work within a team environment.
- Demonstrate an interest in generating business and becoming known in the marketplace as an Expert in their field.
Compensation
- $200,000 - $300,000 per year
