- Prepare, edit, and proofread legal documents, correspondence, and emails with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Support transactional work such as contract drafting, review, and organization (e.g., NDAs, vendor agreements, service agreements).
- Organize and maintain legal files, contracts, and corporate records.
- Provide general legal and administrative support to attorneys and leadership.
- Support litigation matters as needed, including document collection and case file organization.
- File legal documents with state and federal agencies.
- Provide backup and overflow support as needed to leadership team.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of legal assistant experience, with a strong focus on corporate governance work.
- Bachelors degree.
- US Citizenship is required.
- Experience supporting corporate legal functions.
- Familiarity with contract review and transactional processes.
- This role is best suited for someone who brings experience in a legal services environment and is comfortable managing complex workflows, exercising sound judgment, and working independently in a fast‑paced setting.
- Strong knowledge of legal processes, attention to detail, and a service‑oriented approach are essential.
Nice to have
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

- Virginia Pay Range
- $70,000 - $90,000 USD
- Annual Paid Time Off and Paid Holidays
- Prepare and file corporate documents, including formations, amendments, and annual reports.
