About the role
- Women's Club Field Hockey Coach Work Days: Varied Shift Start/End Time: Varies based on the business need.

Responsibilities
- The Women's Club Field Hockey Coach coaches, manages, and develops a competitive Club Field Hockey team (non-varsity).
- The successful candidate will maintain and demonstrate a positive, collaborative spirit to work with the team, and a passion for the sport.
Requirements
- Working knowledge of league bylaws and regulations or willingness to obtain.
- Ability to lift moderately heavy items (up to 30 lbs.) and stand, bend and stoop for extended periods of time.
- Ability to function independently, display strong attention to detail, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
- E-Verify Participation: Union College participates in E-Verify and will provide the federal government with your Form I-9 information to confirm that you are authorized to work in the United States.
- Prior experience coaching and playing competitive field hockey (preferably college-level) required. Current participation in recreational league (as coach or player) preferred.
- Able to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively communicate with players
- Able to support, contribute to, and strengthen a vibrant, culturally diverse, and inclusive learning community of students, alumni, faculty, and fellow professionals.

Compensation
- Except for roles with a set rate of pay, the wage/salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to departmental budgets, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, and training.
- The stated hiring rate/range represents the College's good faith and reasonable estimate of the rate/range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
