About the role
- This position can be accomplished remotely with travel ~25% of the time.
Responsibilities
- Leading program planning and execution: Developing program plans, work breakdown structures, timelines, and resource allocation.
- Project management oversight: Monitoring project progress, identifying potential issues, and implementing corrective actions to maintain project deliverables on time and within budget.
- Team leadership: Providing guidance and support to project teams, assigning tasks, and managing team performance.
- Contract management: Collaborating with contract and procurement teams to manage contracts and ensure compliance.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, or a related field.
- Revolution Space is looking for a dynamic and growth-oriented Senior Program Manager (minimum 15 years of experience) to assist in all aspects of program execution.
Nice to have
- Master's degree in engineering, or a related field.
- 20+ years of program management experience.
- Understanding of aerospace industry standards and regulations to include FAR Prior experience in program management, preferably within aerospace industry
- Tracking program expenditures, identifying cost variances, and implementing cost-saving measures.
- Experience with earned value management systems and government cost control systems a plus
