About the role

  • CAIS provides financial advisors with a broad selection of alternative investment strategies, including hedge funds, private equity, private credit, real estate, digital assets, and structured notes.
  • Ideal candidates will have excellent attention to detail and organization skills, as well as a great client service attitude and entrepreneurial spirit.
  • You should be able to describe specific ways AI has made you more effective in a prior role.

Responsibilities

  • Develop expertise on all CAIS investment products
  • Build excellent working relationships across multiple lines of business and corporate functions in collaboration with product onboarding

Requirements

  • 5-10+ years of internal and/or external sales experience in the alternatives space
  • Bachelor's degree in business, economics, finance, or a related discipline required
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Suite and Salesforce
  • Series 7 and 63 required
  • Comfort using AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, N8N) for research synthesis, materials preparation, and client communications.
  • Exceptional organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Impeccable written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-starter who takes initiative and learns quickly in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong commitment to continuous professional development and improvement of the team
  • Excellent client service aptitude and attitude
  • Comfort using AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, N8N) for research synthesis, materials preparation, and client communications. You should be able to describe specific ways AI has made you more effective in a prior role.

  • CAIS' compensation package includes a market competitive salary, a performance bonus, and exceptional benefits. If you are located in New York, New York, the base salary range for this role is $150,000 - $200,000. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location.
