About the role

  • The position requires strong coordination with production, warehouse, and customer service teams.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate daily shipping activities for finished paper products, including scheduling carriers, preparing documentation, and tracking shipments Ensure on-time delivery performance while minimizing freight costs Serve as the primary point of contact for shipping-related questions and issue resolution on the floor Assist in prioritizing workloads and assigning tasks to shipping personnel based on production and delivery schedules Collaborate closely with production and warehouse teams to align shipping schedules with manufacturing output Prepare and review shipping documents such as bills of lading, packing lists, and export documentation Communicate with carriers and logistics providers to arrange pickups and resolve scheduling issues Support training of new employees and reinforce standard operating procedures Collaborate with production and warehouse teams to ensure alignment of shipping schedules with output Ensure proper handling and loading of paper products, including rolls and palletized materials Manage relationships with carriers, freight brokers, and logistics providers Monitor shipment status and proactively resolve delays, damages, or discrepancies Ensure compliance with DOT, OSHA, and other regulatory requirements Maintain accurate records in ERP/WMS systems Analyze shipping data to identify trends and implement process improvements Support continuous improvement initiatives related to logistics efficiency and cost reduction WORK ENVIRONMENT CONDITIONS SUBJECTED TO IN THIS POSITION: Inside and outside environments apply

Requirements

  • Ability to work in varying temperatures (cold and hot)
