About the role

  • You will define the platform strategy and oversee a large team delivering secure, reliable, cost-efficient, developer-friendly platforms: CI/CD, cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes/EKS, observability, and security-by-default.

Responsibilities

  • Enforce security-by-design: SCA/SAST/DAST in pipelines, secrets management, least-privilege IAM, network segmentation, runtime hardening.
  • Lead remediation SLAs with Security; maintain audit-ready evidence for enterprise standards and regulations.
  • Direct the design/operations of secure AWS platforms using IaC (Terraform/Pulumi) with drift detection and change controls.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience
  • Proven track record delivering secure, reliable, cross-team platforms serving many product squads.
  • Experience with SOC2 compliance.
  • Proficiency in Python/Bash

Nice to have

  • AWS DevOps Engineer - Professional and/or AWS Solutions Architect (Assoc/Pro).
  • Experience with data/streaming platforms (e.g., Databricks/Kafka) or edge/low-latency systems.
  • Vendor consolidation and contract negotiation experience.
  • IaC expertise (Terraform preferred
  • Pulumi a plus) with sound practices (modularity, versioning, policy checks, drift detection).

Skills

  • Establish org-wide guardrails (golden paths, reference architectures, policy-as-code) enabling autonomy with compliance.

  • Publish clear reference architectures, runbooks, and standards; keep documentation current and discoverable.
