About the role
- This role is intentionally broad and execution-focused, combining elements of program management, systems integration, mechanical engineering leadership, production transition, and customer coordination.
- The ideal candidate possesses deep experience operating across the full lifecycle of defense programs including development, integration and test, production, sustainment, and field demonstration activities.
- Assist with planning, execution, schedule coordination, risk management, and technical oversight for development and production efforts.
Responsibilities
- The role may require participation in field exercises, on-water demonstrations, factory integration efforts, and rapid-response operational activities in support of customer objectives.
- You'll work alongside engineers, developers, and technical experts to solve challenging problems and deliver technology that performs in demanding environments.
- Whether you're designing new capabilities or improving existing systems, your work will directly support customers operating in some of the world's most complex missions.
- Duties & Responsibilities Program Leadership & Execution Support program execution activities across advanced maritime, sensor, and autonomous system programs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, or related technical discipline.
- 10+ years of experience supporting DoD or defense-related hardware/system programs.
- Experience supporting programs through development, integration, production, and sustainment lifecycles.
- Strong understanding of configuration management, production transition, and engineering change processes.
- Experience coordinating across engineering, manufacturing, suppliers, and customer stakeholders.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
- This position may require the ability to travel up to 15%.
- Positions that require this access will be required to receive and maintain a U.S. government personnel security clearance (PCL).
