Responsibilities
- Experience building custom cable assemblies and fabricating mechanical test fixtures

Requirements
- A minimum of 3-5 years of related experience in engineering lab environment as an electronics lab technician or similar
- Proven, hands-on experience with PCB solder rework and BGA rework
- Experience with board bring-up and component-level troubleshooting
- Proficiency with standard lab test equipment: oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, logic analyzers, and spectrum analyzers
- Ability to read and interpret electronic schematics and board layouts, and locate components on a PCB
- Ability to load firmware and drivers onto validation platforms
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
- As such, applicants must be eligible to access export-controlled information as defined under applicable law.
- Marvell may be required to obtain export licensing approval from the U.S. Department of Commerce and/or the U.S. Department of State.
Nice to have
- Associates degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering Technology, or equivalent
- vocational qualification in a related technical discipline is preferred
Skills
- Promote sanity and regression testing by ensuring proper platforms are running as needed
- Manage firmware and hardware revisions of validation platforms
- Fabricate electrical and mechanical fixtures per test requirements, including custom optical and RF test setups
- Track, schedule, and coordinate equipment repair and calibrations, including optical and RF instruments
- Coordinate facility-related work as needed (lab upgrades, AC service, infrastructure improvements)
- Execute engineering change orders (ECOs) on PCBs down to 0201 package size
- Mount, remove, clean, and reflow BGA chips and connectors
