About the role

  • Are you seeking an opportunity to put your financial and analytical skills into practice in a global manufacturing company?
  • This internship is scheduled to start on the 1st of October for a duration of 6 months.
  • The role requires a minimum commitment of 2 days per week on-site at our Oegstgeest office, with the flexibility to work from home up to 3 days per week.

Responsibilities

  • Financial Reporting & Analysis: Support the monthly and quarterly reporting and analysis to ensure business owners get timely, accurate, and actionable insights on their financial performance.
  • Ad Hoc Analysis: Prepare ad hoc internal reporting sales analysis, update the performance reports models, and create various customized financial analyses to support commercial decision-making.
  • Commercial & Procurement Support: Provide associated analytical support to both the commercial and procurement teams to help optimize cost and sales efficiency.
  • Model Management: Maintain and improve existing financial performance models, looking for opportunities to leverage automation and digital tools.
  • Stakeholder Wiring: Establish and build upon robust and cohesive working relationships between different teams, acting as a key link between Finance, Sales & Marketing, Procurement, IT, and Business Intelligence.
  • Support the monthly and quarterly reporting and analysis to ensure business owners get timely, accurate, and actionable insights on their financial performance.
  • Prepare ad hoc internal reporting sales analysis, update the performance reports models, and create various customized financial analyses to support commercial decision-making.
  • Provide associated analytical support to both the commercial and procurement teams to help optimize cost and sales efficiency.
  • Establish and build upon robust and cohesive working relationships between different teams, acting as a key link between Finance, Sales & Marketing, Procurement, IT, and Business Intelligence.

Requirements

  • Currently following a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration (with a focus on Finance), or another related field of study.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with full professional proficiency in English (written and verbal).
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel / Google Sheets (including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, INDEX/MATCH, and Conditional Operations).
  • You must be currently enrolled at a Dutch university for the entire duration of your internship.

  • Pay Transparency Statement
  • The salary for this position is 550 euros per month.
  • The hiring base salary range above represents what Avery Dennison reasonably expects to pay for this position as of the date of this posting.
