- Identify key areas of operational risk and confirm that the manager has completed associated remediation actions and/or implemented appropriate mitigating controls.
Responsibilities
- Prepare written reports for internal and external distribution documenting the due diligence performed, findings, and recommendations to support conclusions.
- Maintain and track remediation/action plans with managers; escalate material issues to Investment, Legal, Compliance, and Operational Risk, and present at the appropriate governance forums.
- Proactively identify and support efforts/projects to evolve the team's practice in operational due diligence.
- Contribute to client deliverables including ODD sections of due diligence reports, RFPs/RFIs, and responses to client operational questionnaires; support client meetings as subject-matter expert.
Requirements
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in Business Analyst, Operations, Internal Audit or Compliance roles within financial services, including Operational Due Diligence experience.
- Ability to articulate concerns/issues effectively to internal and external senior investment management professionals and compliance professionals.
- ability to consume and triangulate information and data from multiple sources and reconcile conflicts.
- ability to multi‑task and prioritize multiple projects efficiently.
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written) required.
- Excellent interpersonal skills integrating tact and diplomacy required.
- Ability to professionally represent the firm required.
- Collaboration and working in a team is required.
Nice to have
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field required
- MBA or CFA preferred.
- Knowledge of private equity/real estate/hedge fund strategies and trading, valuation, and industry best practices is preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- project management and coding skills are preferred.
Compensation
- $110,000 USD - $150,000 USD
- Specific compensation will be based on candidate's experience, skills, qualifications, commercial considerations, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
