About the role

  • We are seeking a highly experienced UI/UX Architect to lead the design and architecture of modern, enterprise-grade applications within our Data Analytics & AI practice. This role is ideal for a hands-on technical leader who thrives at the intersection of user experience, scalable front-end engineering, cloud architecture, and data-driven application design.
  • You will serve as the front-end technical authority across client engagements — shaping architecture strategy, guiding engineering standards, and delivering high-performance applications that support complex enterprise and analytics-driven use cases.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end front-end and application architecture for enterprise client engagements.
  • Design and implement high-performance, production-grade user interfaces built for scale, interaction depth, and enterprise reliability.
  • Work hands-on across the full lifecycle: discovery, architecture design, development, deployment, and production support.
  • Drive decisions related to front-end performance optimization, load strategy, state management, CI/CD, and deployment models.
  • Translate complex technical and business requirements into scalable application designs.
  • Collaborate with data, backend, and DevOps teams to deliver cohesive end-to-end solutions.
  • Provide advisory support on data-driven interfaces and visualization tools such as Streamlit, Tableau, and Microsoft Power BI when relevant.
  • Act as a trusted technical advisor in client conversations, including architecture workshops, design reviews, and solution positioning.
  • Proven experience serving as a front-end architect or technical lead on enterprise-scale applications.
  • Deep expertise in modern web technologies such as React, Angular, Vue, or similar frameworks, along with JavaScript/TypeScript and responsive design principles.

Requirements

  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills along with the ability to communicate effectively.
  • Must be able to perform work indoors and remain stationary at a computer.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.
  • Current permanent U.S. work authorization required.

Nice to have

  • Previous experience in a consulting organization.
  • Experience with Streamlit, Tableau, or Microsoft Power BI.
  • Experience supporting data-intensive or analytics-driven application environments.
  • Background in enterprise data platforms, cloud data ecosystems, or modern data architectures.
  • Advanced degree is a plus.
  • Complex, meaningful enterprise transformation work

Compensation

  • Base Salary Range is 140,000
  • 180,000 plus 25% variable compensation is available for this specific role. At Avaap it is not typical to be hired at the top of the base salary range.
  • During the interview process, alignment to level will be determined and should level differ from position applied for, a new compensation range will be provided for the appropriate role.
  • Compensation for roles at Avaap varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific business unit, team, role, skillset, and level of experience.
  • As required by law, Avaap provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired.
