About the role

We are seeking a highly experienced UI/UX Architect to lead the design and architecture of modern, enterprise-grade applications within our Data Analytics & AI practice. This role is ideal for a hands-on technical leader who thrives at the intersection of user experience, scalable front-end engineering, cloud architecture, and data-driven application design.
You will serve as the front-end technical authority across client engagements — shaping architecture strategy, guiding engineering standards, and delivering high-performance applications that support complex enterprise and analytics-driven use cases.

Lead end-to-end front-end and application architecture for enterprise client engagements.
Design and implement high-performance, production-grade user interfaces built for scale, interaction depth, and enterprise reliability.
Work hands-on across the full lifecycle: discovery, architecture design, development, deployment, and production support.
Drive decisions related to front-end performance optimization, load strategy, state management, CI/CD, and deployment models.
Translate complex technical and business requirements into scalable application designs.
Collaborate with data, backend, and DevOps teams to deliver cohesive end-to-end solutions.
Provide advisory support on data-driven interfaces and visualization tools such as Streamlit, Tableau, and Microsoft Power BI when relevant.
Act as a trusted technical advisor in client conversations, including architecture workshops, design reviews, and solution positioning.
Proven experience serving as a front-end architect or technical lead on enterprise-scale applications.
Deep expertise in modern web technologies such as React, Angular, Vue, or similar frameworks, along with JavaScript/TypeScript and responsive design principles.

Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills along with the ability to communicate effectively.
Must be able to perform work indoors and remain stationary at a computer.
Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment.
Current permanent U.S. work authorization required.

Previous experience in a consulting organization.
Experience with Streamlit, Tableau, or Microsoft Power BI.
Experience supporting data-intensive or analytics-driven application environments.
Background in enterprise data platforms, cloud data ecosystems, or modern data architectures.
Advanced degree is a plus.

Base Salary Range is 140,000
180,000 plus 25% variable compensation is available for this specific role. At Avaap it is not typical to be hired at the top of the base salary range.
During the interview process, alignment to level will be determined and should level differ from position applied for, a new compensation range will be provided for the appropriate role.
Compensation for roles at Avaap varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific business unit, team, role, skillset, and level of experience.
As required by law, Avaap provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired.
