About the role
- This role plays a key part in maintaining organized supplier records, including reviewing and organizing contracts, and ensuring accurate tracking of orders and materials.
Responsibilities
- Create and track purchase orders under the direction of Manufacturing Management
- Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, invoices, and supplier communications
- Review, organize, and maintain supplier contracts and documentation, ensuring files are complete, up to date, and easily accessible
- Update and maintain supplier and procurement data in ERP systems and spreadsheets
- Support internal audits by ensuring documentation is complete and properly filed
Requirements
- Experience working with technical suppliers or regulated materials
- Knowledge of inventory planning and demand forecasting
- Experience supporting procurement or supply chain teams
- Familiarity with basic contract documentation and vendor files
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment, including standing or walking for extended periods, or in a cleanroom.
- Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident status required.
- Assist with supplier onboarding by collecting required documentation and entering data into systems
Nice to have
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
- 1-3 years of experience in administrative, purchasing, or coordination roles
- Experience in manufacturing or technical environments is a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, etc.)
- Effective communication and follow-up skills
Compensation
- The salary for this position is $25 - $35/hour, depending on experience and qualifications.
