About the role

- Provides the services of a Patient Observer (Sitter) for any patient who has been assessed to require constant observation in order to maximize his/her safety.
- The NA II/UC needs to understand the patient's condition to ensure their care and safety.
Responsibilities
- 2 - Professional Development - Maintains current knowledge/certification.
- a - *Maintains BLS certification.
- Maintains awareness of MSDS sheets and how to access.
- b - Collaborates with Operations Supervisor to maintain/change par levels and to order from outside vendors.
Requirements
- Knowledge of basic computer knowledge
- Required Classes/Skills -
- Required additional Knowledge, and Abilities
- Ability to deal efficiently and effectively with a wide variety of individuals.
- a - Utilizes software applications required by department and unit standards.
Nice to have
- High School Diploma/GED preferred.
- Previous Nursing Assistant or equivalent experience preferred.
Compensation
- Once deemed competent, the NA II/UC shall continue to perform phlebotomy duties on a consistent basis (typically on a daily basis), and successfully complete an annual competency assessment.
