Responsibilities
- Partner with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, document, and validate requirements for BFSI applications, platforms, and integrations.
- Collaborate with architects and development teams to define API integrations, system interfaces, data mappings, and end-to-end process flows.
- Support analysis across core banking, payment systems, lending platforms, digital channels, risk and compliance workflows, or insurance applications.
- Perform data analysis using SQL, Excel, and BI tools to validate requirements, identify trends, and support decision-making.
- Work closely with QA teams to define acceptance criteria, review test scenarios, and support user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Track requirement status, support project milestones, surface risks and dependencies, and help ensure timely delivery.
- Maintain high-quality documentation including BRDs, FRDs, user stories, process flows, and sequence diagrams.

Requirements
- The employee is regularly required to operate a computer, keyboard, telephone/headset, and/or other office equipment as essential functions of this position.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, including 3+ years within the BFSI domain.
- Strong understanding of banking and/or insurance processes, including core banking, payments, digital channels, risk, and compliance.
- Proficiency in SQL and data analysis to support requirement validation and business insights.
- Experience working with API-based integrations, microservices, and modern application architectures.
- Solid understanding of SDLC, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and Rally.
- Strong documentation and communication skills with experience creating BRDs, FRDs, user stories, process flows, and sequence diagrams.
- Understanding of software engineering practices and delivery models such as Lean, Agile, DevOps, and continuous improvement.
- Demonstrated judgment, adaptability, and the ability to manage shifting priorities in dynamic environments.
- Ownership mindset with a strong focus on product, engineering, and client outcomes.
- Knowledge of regulatory and compliance frameworks such as PCI-DSS, AML, KYC, GDPR, and SOX.
- Exposure to API Management, event-driven architecture, and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Nice to have
- Experience supporting data migration, transformation, or modernization programs in BFSI environments is preferred.
- Professional certifications such as CBAP, CCBA, Scrum Master, or Agile BA are a plus.
Compensation
- The base salary range for this position is $92,250 - $135,000 plus incentives that align with individual and company performance.
