About the role

The Staff Accountant / AR Specialist reports to the VP of Finance.
include, but are not limited to, Accounts Receivable, billing, AR reconciliation, cash collections, general accounting reconciliations, as well as other special projects as assigned.

Assist with client follow-ups on outstanding AR and provide support for inquiries.
Ability to learn and perform multiple functions for redundancy within Finance.

The candidate must possess working knowledge of AR processes, PC skills, and the ability to interact with co-workers, clients, and vendors at peer and senior levels.
The Must Haves: Strong technical skills in computing and analysis Working knowledge of Accounts Receivable and cash collections processes General ledger experience.
Ability to work with others within the company to solve finance related issues.
Two years experience in industry or public accounting Bachelor's degree; preferred: BS in Accounting or Finance Ability to work independently and manage priorities.
