Responsibilities

  • Take spacecraft and ground terminal RF Hardware from conception to design, manufacturing, test, and on-orbit operations
  • Design and simulate RF subsystems (filters, amplifiers, transitions etc.)
  • Perform component selection for frontend circuits
  • Perform schematic capture, layout and fabrication support of RF frontend PCBAs and antennas
  • Contribute to trade studies and designs of radio systems from a hardware perspective

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, physics, or equivalent.
  • Graduate's degree is desirable
  • 5+ years' experience with RF circuit and/or antenna design
  • 5+ years' experience with RF circuit simulation tools (ADS, Microwave Office etc.) and PCB layout tools (Altium, Cadence etc.)
  • Familiarity with RF radio architectures and components
  • Knowledge/familiarity with modulation, DSP, or digital radio concepts is desirable
  • Experience with Altium Designer is desirable
  • Experience with antenna design in CST or equivalent is desirable
  • Familiarity with ADCs/DACs/RFSoC/SDR desirable
  • Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, physics, or equivalent. Graduate's degree is desirable

Compensation

  • $113,474 - $163,474 CAD Actual total compensation will be determined at the Company's discretion and is based on a variety of job-related factors, which may include, but are not limited to, relevant knowledge, skills, experience, performance, and education and/or training.

  • $1,500 EUR annual professional development fund to support your growth.
